👿 Could there be a clearer refutation of the Trump administration’s ban on federal funding of newly created human embryonic stem-cell lines than the fact that the treatment President Trump boasts of “curing” him of COVID-19 derives from such a stem cell? While the efficacy of the “cocktail” of monoclonal antibodies is yet unproven, the New York Times has reported that it was “developed using human cells derived from a fetus aborted decades ago.” [Read more.]

👿 Through an “interim final rule,” the U.S. Small Business Administration has announced that recipients of $50,000 or less in taxpayer-funded forgivable loans under the Paycheck Protection Program can have their loans forgiven even if they’ve violated rules prohibiting them from firing employees or reducing wages. This change compounds an earlier, unconstitutional SBA decision to force taxpayers to fund religion through the PPP. [Read details.]

👿 On October 16, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a Kentucky law that was used by former Governor Bevin to try to close abortion clinics and cut off access in the state. The court’s decision forces the Commonwealth’s two clinics to apply for an unnecessary waiver from the health department every 90 days to continue providing abortion services. [See details.]

Lie of the Month

The end justifies the means.

When you look back on your life on Earth, you will feel little or no pride in your material accomplishments, but you will be pleased — or displeased — with what you have become. In the end, the only thing that counts is the quality of a person’s character. This is evaluated according to how well that person followed his or her conscience.… [read more]

The Social Relevance of Reincarnation

. . . From the reincarnationalist viewpoint, history is not a record of the world's power struggles; it is the record of learning and awakening. Society moves into a higher mode of living when enough individuals have the feeling, "been there, done that, got the shirt." And they have that intuitive feeling precisely because they have learned the lesson in past lives. A careful study of how these lessons get learned from lifetime to lifetime would shed a great deal of light on how societies as a whole progress.  . . .  [read more]

Case of the Month

Scotland Redux

Case #81: Having a son who says he prefers his other mother is a common irritant that many step-mothers might be resigned to face; but what if there is no other woman and the son whom you bore claims to like his “other” mother better than you?  . . .  [read more]

Worth Repeating This Month
"Sex exists — with and without love — and in both forms it does far more good than harm. The attempts at its suppression, however, are almost universally harmful, both to the individuals involved and to society as a whole." — Hugh M. Hefner
“Every human is a neuron in the brain of the planet."
— Matias De Stefano

Book CoverPriests & Politicians: The Mafia of the Soul
—Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh [OSHO]

A very controversial author, saying many important things that few others dare say. Actually, the title is the best, and most succint, synopsis.

A New-Age phenom in the '1990s, Ramtha provides the most comprehendable and reasonable description of the creation of our world. No study of channelled writings would be complete without examining JZ's work. … Indeed!

Book CoverThe Education of Oversoul Seven — Jane Roberts
Jane Roberts’ beloved character, Oversoul Seven, an ageless student of the universe, explores the entire framework of our existence.  Seven explores the true nature of his being as he learns to communicate with four of his “incarnations” — four all-too-human people whose lives are separated by centuries, yet who also coexist.
